Midcentury Hand-painted ‘Canals of Italy’ Painting, smoothly painted, Sunset Background, w/thicker/textured Yellow highlight detail & tons of thick raised texture Black outlines.
Orig Classic Carved Wood Frame/inner linen matting.
In 1960’s these Paintings were sold at furniture stores, marketed towards middle-class consumers. They weren’t incredibly expensive & alot sold but for some reason I don’t see them up for sale that often. Sturdy Metal Wire Hanger.
Excellent vintage condition; no chips cracks stains or warps. Frame has no chips cracks splits stains or repairs. Found in one of my neighborhood’s midcentury tomb houses.
